Video Production and Hosting

This page highlights some of the instructional videos I’ve created—from idea to final edit. I researched the topics, wrote the scripts, designed visuals, recorded screen captures, and edited everything myself.

Each video shows how I use media to make learning clear, engaging, and accessible. You’ll also see examples of how I design with tools like PowerPoint, Camtasia, Canva, and screen readers like NVDA.

In addition to pre-recorded content, I also host and manage live Zoom trainings and webinars. I handle all aspects—from sending invites and organizing presenters to running the sessions, recording, editing, and uploading the final content for online access. This lets me support both real-time learning and on-demand review.

Breaking Barriers: Learning Without Limits

Video Concept,  Research, Script Writing, Design, and Editing, Hosting Online.

This video is a showcase of my end-to-end instructional media production skills. I wrote the script, created on-screen visuals in Canva, recorded and edited the video in Camtasia, and aligned every element with accessibility best practices.

Designed as part of a larger eLearning module, the video introduces key strategies for inclusive learning—like using screen readers, captions, and adaptive tools. But beyond the message, this piece reflects my ability to take an instructional concept and turn it into an engaging, accessible multimedia experience.

The 7 Principles of Universal Design

Video Hosting, Research, Script Writing, Design, and Accessibility Demonstration.

This video demonstrates my ability to research, design, and produce accessible learning content from start to finish. I began by researching the 7 Principles of Universal Design, then created a clean, accessible PowerPoint presentation that adheres to best practices in visual contrast, layout, and readability.

To bring the content to life, I recorded a screen capture walkthrough and used the NVDA screen reader to narrate the presentation—intentionally showcasing how assistive technology interacts with digital materials.

The result is a learning experience that doesn’t just talk about accessibility, it models it.

Watch the video (6:51) to see how I combine instructional design, accessibility strategy, and multimedia production to support inclusive learning.

Virtual Event Production: 2020 UC Master Gardener Mini-Conference

Planning, Hosting, Asset Creation, Media Production and Streaming.

When the statewide UC Master Gardener Conference was canceled due to COVID-19, I led the creation of a fully virtual alternative: the 2020 UC Master Gardener Mini-Conference.

Over three days (Sept. 29–Oct. 1, 2020), I planned, produced, and hosted 9 live sessions streamed simultaneously to Facebook and YouTube using StreamYard. I secured all speakers, coordinated the full session schedule, and created the media assets used for transitions, overlays, and promotions. Hosted practice sessions with speakers and reviewed presentations before the conference. I also edited and archived all recordings for future viewing.

This virtual conference reached over 6,000 volunteers statewide and provided timely education, connection, and inspiration when in-person training wasn’t possible.
